We have an exciting opportunity to get involved with the Scheme. The Scheme is run by a Trustee Board of 11 trustee directors, 4 of whom are nominated by the members of the Scheme. Two of these member-nominated directors are due to complete their terms of appointment, meaning that we are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to put themselves forward to join the Trustee Board starting from 01 April 2027.

Appointments would usually be for five years, but this may be varied in specific circumstances. Please note that one of the current incumbents is eligible to re-stand.


Although we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and skill sets, we are particularly looking for one or more of the following:

  • Proven experience leading large teams, including customer service operations
  • Strong, transferable risk management skills applicable to customer service environments
  • Experience leading or overseeing the design of change management initiatives (as there are a large number of regulatory changes impacting the pensions industry over the upcoming years)
  • Experience in strategic decision-making in the investment management space.
